Dr. Gheorghe Gh. Ionescu is a graduate of the Academy of Economic Studies, Bucharest with a major in SIndustrial EnterpriseT. He completed his doctoral studies at the SDunarea de JosT University, Galati, Romania. He specialized in management as an IREX scholar at the South California University, Los Angeles and as a Fulbright scholar at the Pennsylvania University, U.S.A.

Dr. Ionescu holds a minor in methods of teaching for postgraduate students which he studied in Nottingham and London, United Kingdom and Athens, Greece. He is also a tutor for doctoral students since 1990.

Professor Ionescu is the author of more than 40 books and an impressive number of studies and articles in industrial management, comparative management, marketing, consumersR behavior, organizational culture and business ethics.
